In 2000, he moved to Long Island, NY where he spend the next 18 years coaching with the Long Island Gulls Tier 1 AAA hockey club, coaching some of the top AAA players to come out of Long Island over the past 20 years. Bruce helped to initiate some of the first female programs from Washington DC to the NC region during his time is Virginia. He coached a the 1998 Tidewater Sharks Peewee AA team in their inaugural season to the southeast district championship. After finishing college, He moved to Virginia to help grow youth hockey in the southeastern USA with ARC ice sports (Canlan). *Head coaches have final confirmation of the number of players each team will carry based on tryouts.īruce grew up playing hockey in Nova Scotia, Canada.
He also coaches the Father Ryan High School Varsity squad. Upon moving to Nashville, Dom joined the Ford Ice Center coaching staff before accepting the position as Youth Hockey Coordinator. He spent four years with the New Jersey Stars youth organization with a heavy involvement in their travel, youth league, and grassroots programs, as well as their skills clinics and summer camps/programs.
